CF fundraiser the Taste of Utah is one of our favorite traditions, fancy dining, and fancy company.

Sun Valley Running of the Sheep

Dave and Emmy invited us up to sun valley which is amazing during the fall. The leaves are unbelievable and the weather is perfect. Ralph and Dave mountain biked and I got to play with the kids, we had a great time, and we got to see the running of the sheep!

Lake Powell in October

Lake Powell in October is Amazing! ten degrees warmer and it would have been heaven on earth. We skied til our arms felt like they would fall off, it was smooth all day long, and we felt like we were the only ones on the lake. A perfect trip to finish an amazing waterskiing summer. Ralph has turned into a great skier!

Back to School

Halloween

Coyote Gulch

Coyote Gulch backpacking trip with my dad in late september, was amazing. The leaves were just beginning to change, it was nice and cool at night, and the perfect temperature for hiking. We had a blast, every turn of the canyon we would ooh and aaah. Such a beautiful place, and so worth the drive to get there. We camped over night right under Jacob Hamblin arch, and only saw two other people the whole time. I'm definitely going back to paint one day.

Sold the Saab

We finally sold the saab, it was a sad day but it has been a great car for the past 13 years I have loved driving it and have lots of fond memories in this car. It is going to a great new family that is excited to have her and will hopefully treat her well, good bye saab.

Fence Project

We have finally completed our summer long fence project. We decided to to do a more modern horizontal fence and really we started off having no idea what we were doing. We started with metal posts because of the irrigation water running on the other side of the fence. Then attached wood rails and finished off with cedar fencing. We just finished it off with a gray stain which brings it all together. The learning curve took a bit to work out, but now we can wiz through the next fences we may have to make!

Ralph rides the Bull!

Ralph unsuccessfully rides the bull at Maggie and Russell's wedding hoedown reception, it was so fun. Cotton candy, popcorn, home smoked pulled pork and a cute hubby dressed up as a cowboy. I had a great time. The wedding the next day was also beautiful and fun. Fun bright pink bowties and cutie Catie!

Pok Pok Thai Chicken Wings

After Visiting Kelly and Dave in Portland we were craving the delicious chicken wings we sampled at the wonderful portland thai restaurant Pok Pok. We found this recipe online, pretty good but we recommend making the trip to Portland for the real thing.
